Roon 2.0 without mobile access

I am interested in having the latest software, and apparently my trusty Mac mini that runs my core is just inside the OS requirements of accepting the download.

However, I have no use at this time for mobile access.

Is there a benefit of running 2.0 without setting up mobile access?

You get to run the Apple Silicon versions, if that’s important to you.

Also on Intel Macs you have now much faster, stable native .net version. Works fantastic on old Macs.

You will get all the other improvements in the future that certainly won’t be added to 1.8.
If you don’t want to use mobile, don’t use it

Thank You!
