Roon 2.51 update not working with RoPieee

Whoa! My after I finished submitting this post (read details below), I gain rebooted the Raspberry Pi 3 and Pi 5 that are running RoPieee and quit and restarted Room. The two zones reappeared in Settings>Audio, with their unique names but needing to be re-enabled. I had done the re-booting and restarting Roon many times previously. So new question: Can anyone explain why the zones disappeared with the update, then all the procedures described below failed to help. Then, after a delay of about an hour, the zones reappeared.

Previous description:
My two RoPieee zonesMy Roon 2.50 was working well with RoPieee 1.8 (see more on version below). After update to 2.51 the audio zones no longer show up in Settings>Audio. My browser does access the RoPieee configuration pages and I can configure, reboot Ropieee, but no zones. I was able to reinstall 2.50 (against recommendations) and RoPieee went back to working for the evening. Then overnight Roon automatically updated to 2.51 and RoPieee zones no longer show up in Roon. I can’t seem to reinstall 2.50 now. Even from an old backup, when I install that 2.50 Roon,.app file, it opens as 2.51 – even tho I have asked Roon to ask before installing updates.

Roon is working with the zones/endpoints on the MacBook Pro (version see below) which also runs the Roon Server.

I have tried reinstalling and re-configuring RoPieee (and also Roon.app from new downloads (successfully) but still no RoPieee zones).

I am on a MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.4.1
Running RoPieee on a Rasperry Pi 3b with a HifiBerry digit+ hat on ethernet.
Strangely: RoPieee page says it’s version 2025.04 (2360 stable).
while: Roon reports the RoPieee version as 1.8 (build 1125).

I have gone through the same process with a Raspberry pi (on a USB connection to the DAC (no Hifiberry Hat), with the same problem of no zones. This Raspberry Pi was also working well as a zone before the. update to 2.51.

I’d love to get my Roon important Roon endpoints working.

That’s the version of Roon Bridge running on RoPieee. It’s the latest version.

I recommend updating your Mac to 15.5 and then reviewing your Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network and make sure Roon has access.
