We’ve corrected a playback engine bug that was causing infinite loops when Roon is unable to properly retrieve Qobuz tracks from their CDN. We continue to work with Qobuz to resolve the underlying playback issues, but these changes ensure that we cleanly handle failures when we’re confident the situation is unrecoverable.

Hey Everyone,
We have another small but meaningful update for you today.
We’ve continued working through sources of unnecessary memory usage in RoonServer, and this build ships two more targeted improvements. These reduce how much memory Roon consumes during normal operation, and ease pressure on the garbage collector, which can cause brief slowdowns when it kicks in.
We know some of you are still seeing memory grow steadily and having to reboot RoonServer to bring it back down. That’s a sepa…
If you wish to run this you need to switch your Roon Switch Roon Server and all your remotes over to the Early Access builds.

Version 2.65 is an early access (beta) release.

You can opt to use the early access builds if you want to - but you have to migrate the Roon Server and all of the Roon Clients and ARC installs that you use to the early access build as well and, being a beta release, issues are not unknown.
