Roon 2.65: Restarting Remote interrupts Qobuz playback and skips track

Since updating to version 2.65, I’ve been experiencing a consistent issue: whenever I restart the Roon Remote on either macOS or iOS: any currently playing Qobuz stream gets interrupted and skips to the next track in the queue.

Use-Case: start a playlist on the Mac using Roon remote and let it play in the background. Later, while away from the Mac, pick up the iPhone, open the Roon Remote app, and try to control the ongoing playback.

Thanks for the pointer, but I’d like to clarify my intent here. I’m not looking for individual troubleshooting support. I’m reporting what appears to be a reproducible regression in version Roon 2.65. The behavior is consistent across devices (macOS and iOS) and follows a clear pattern: opening Roon Remote interrupts an active Qobuz stream and skips to the next track.

From my perspective, this is valuable feedback for the product rather than a support case tied to my specific setup.

I would have expected this kind of issue to be discussed openly here as part of the release feedback, especially if others might be affected.

Thanks for clarifying.

Moved to Feedback where Roon’s product team will see it.
