· Home network:
* Unraid 7.3.1 server (HP ProLiant MicroServer Gen8) * Roon Server 2.67 (Build 1661) running in the `steefdebruijn/docker-roonserver` Docker container * Roon Remote on Windows 11 * Server connected via Gigabit Ethernet * Standard home router with a single LAN (no VLANs or mesh) * No VPN between the Roon Remote and Roon Server (Tailscale is installed on the server but is not used for local Roon connections) * Music library is stored on the Unraid array and mounted inside the container as `/music` * TIDAL account connected
The network is stable. Music playback, browsing, search, and TIDAL all work normally. The only issue is that the Storage page permanently shows **"Scanning now..."** even though the library appears to be fully imported.
You’ll see that more files were scanned than added to your library. Therefore, take a look at skipped files (Settings → Library → Skipped Files) to see if Roon failed to import come files.
Had “non-music” files in the database. Have had for years. Have been meaning to do something about it, but ir was not a priority as long as everything seemed to be working.
So..
Switched to Unraid. Moved the database around a bit… and suddenly, this.
So i deleted ALL files that was not music files. And I fixed filenames where they were not up to my standard.
And suddenly everything seems ok. Scanned everything. Analysing now.
