· Hi Roon Support Team,

I am writing to request assistance with a recurring issue regarding my account authorization. I am part of the Mac Studio Beta testing group, and I do not use any additional servers or secondary computers to host my music; I run everything exclusively on this one machine.

Every time I install a new update, Roon seems to disconnect. Currently, the platform is stating that my equipment is "already registered" and is prompting me to start a trial for multiple locations. To be clear: I only use one computer and have no need for additional location access. It appears the software is failing to recognize my Mac Studio as the primary authorized device after the update.

As today is Saturday—the only day I have to truly enjoy my music—this is a very frustrating experience. Could you please help me reset my authorization or fix the recognition issue so I can get back to my library?

I love the platform and want to keep supporting the Beta, but I’d really appreciate a permanent fix for this "multiple location" error.

Best regards, Cesar

Hi,

Sometimes Roon licensing server gets confused and thinks the current Roon Server is an additional different installation.

Just press the unauthorise icon, it’s quite safe, and then login as normal.

Hi Carl,

Thank you! I gave that a try. I ended up having to restart several times and also uninstall and reinstall the app.

I really appreciate your advice. Have a fantastic rest of your weekend!

Cesar
