Roon adds then deletes new Tidal albums from database

Hello,

Just recently, I have tried to add Tidal albums to my database. Roon will add them, then take them away just as quickly. It has done it to me repeatedly with a variety of artists and file types. It also does it whether I add it from the album page or the artist page. What could be the cause for this?

To start, may I ask that you please expand on the issue a bit for me?

  • Is this happening for all TIDAL albums that you add to your library?
  • Are previous TIDAL albums still displaying in Roon? Is it just newly added albums?
  • What happens if you favorite new albums in TIDAL directly? Do these show up in Roon?
  • If you search for the album that is no longer in your library, what does it look like? Does it say it is in your library?

I think I found the problem. I was trying to answer your third question and TIDAL let me know it won’t let me have more than 10,000 favorite albums. I didn’t realize there was a limit. It would have been nice of Roon would have let me know this. If you know of a way around the TIDAL limit, do let me know. Thanks
