Roon and Alexa

So I want a Roon endpoint in our kitchen. My other half wants an Alexa device in the kitchen.

Therefore I need a device that can be part of the Roon network that also accepts Alexa voice commands. (I am not interested in controlling my Roon network via Alexa.)

We already have an Echo Studio.

One solution I considered was to buy a Wiim Pro as it is Roon Ready - then output via a wire to the Echo Studio.

Another possible solution is to buy a Sonos Era 100 as this has Alexa integrated according to the Sonos website. However, on this webpage it is not listed as Roon compatible.

Would either of these solutions work?
Are there any other possibilities I have not considered?

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Take a look at the JBL range: Charge and Boombox.

The Sonos will likely work as do all Sonos devices. Not all are listed as Sonos don’t send any models for Roon to test and certify. I have an ARC it isn’t certified and works fine.

Denon Home 150 also works.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Do you know if it has “full” Alexa functionality for timers and weather etc. or does it just skip tracks, alter the volume etc?
