Roon and AMD Radeon RX550 graphics card

Hi, I’ve just just bought a new desktop PC, and when I try to start Roon, I get the error “Roon could not find WGL functions required to initialise OpenGL”. I downloaded the latest drivers, but still no luck… Anyone know what I can try? Thanks, Dave

Can you please open Windows Start menu and type in “System Information”. Then, share a screenshot of System Summary and Components -> Display?

I would also try to run the Intel Update tool to see if this helps:

Hi ,I did some Intel updates but no success. Roon will only open with the Radeon RX550 disabled.

Looks like Roon is using the AMD GPU then. Make sure you use the latest driver for that GPU too:

Thanks for checking the Intel Drive, making sure you have the latest AMD driver up-to-date is the next step here as @BlackJack noted!

Yes the first thing I did was update drivers for AMD, have checked again still won’t open

Thank you for sending those logs over.

Apologies, I was unaware you were running a RoonServer + RoonUI type of setup, we will need the logs from the UI aspect of Roon which is crashing, for more information.

Can you please access the logs under %localappdata%/Roon instead and send me those? You can paste that directly into the Explorer window for easy access if you want.
