Hi @support
I am noticing this with my Mytek Brooklyn via USB but I think it is quite a generalised thing. Basically if I play a track with DSP upsampling on and I pause the play and start it again before the light of the signal path goes off I have continuous cracking noises. If I wait for the light to goes off then start again everything is fine. Without DSP on this doesn’t happen. I tried to switch the Roon setting for the Brooklyn to use Maximum Buffer size but hasn’t solved the problem. (I am also using a 50ms Resync Delay to allow time to switch format between specially when using radio)
I also tried the same thing using my devialet via ethernet using RoonAir and even in that case there were stuttering and drop outs if the track was restarted before the light went off, however in that case raising the Buffer Size from Default to 50ms seemed to fix the issue (Disclaimer I gave it only a couple of try but it seemed ok) . It is not a big deal once you know what cause the cracking but it took me a while to figure it out.
Thanks
M
