Hi all - Roon imports all of my FLAC files from my Synology NAS just fine, it doesn’t import any of the files I download from iTunes that are stored on the NAS. What am I missing?
Hi @mark_richter,
Are the iTunes downloads stored in the same location as the FLAC files? So we can better understand what you may be experiencing, can you share a screenshot of Settings > Storage in Roon as well as a screenshot of the iTunes files that are not appearing in Roon so we can see the file path?
Thanks!
Responded to your e-mail. Thx!
Hi @mark_richter,

Thanks!
Hi @mark_richter,
In the screenshot above the albums are in .m4p format, which is a protected format and is not supported by Roon. In order to be used in Roon they’ll need to be converted to a supported format.
OK, maybe I misunderstood the functionality. Am I not able to include music I have added in my iTunes library?
Hi @mark_richter,
You can add iTunes library content, but the content must be in a format that is supported by Roon. In the screenshot you shared, the iTunes library is .m4p, which is not supported. If you have any iTunes content in other formats that are supported (or if you convert this content to other formats) you’ll be able to use it in Roon.
