Roon and Tidal: missing hi-hes versions of albums

Hello,

I noticed that there are some albums in my Roon library where Roon only shows the FLAC 44/16 versions of the albums although they are available as 96/24 at the Tidal app.

One example:

Plains "I Walked With You A Ways“

Tidal App FLAC 96/24
Roon (Tidal) FLAC 44/16

My Setup:
Router FRITZ!Box 6591 cable
Mesh Setup
Carrier Vodafone Germany (1Gbit)

Roon Core
MacBook Pro 14“ M1 Pro 16GB

Playback device
iPad Air 5th gen

Hi @Ingo_Koch,

What you’re seeing is a result of the re-integration aspects of the API following Tidal’s recent abandonment of MQA. Please see this thread for more details: Roon compatibility with new Tidal HiRes FLAC

In short, not all of Tidal’s high-res content has been made available to integration partners (like Roon) in FLAC format following the shift to Tidal Max. Tidal is a Roon partner and we’re working together to implement a common ground solution, but we don’t have an immediate timeline at the current moment.
