What is the operating system of the machine you’re using as your RoonServer, and where is it connected to the network in the mesh topology you’ve shared above?
Roon relies on multicast traffic to carry device announcements. I’d verify that your range extenders and main router are configured to support multicast forwarding and IGMP snooping. I’d also make sure Roon is safelisted in all firewalls and antivirus software, including those that come standard on Windows/Mac computers as relevant.
Lastly, double-check that RoonServer and the endpoints are on the same subnetwork.
We’ll watch for a response and follow up from there. Thanks!
Hi @alperson,
I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to provide live support, but we’re here to help as best as we can in this forum. Were you able to try the suggestions that @connor provided? Let us know if you need any further assistance!
One other suggestion, since you are using a Windows PC, I would verify that both Roon.exe and RAATServer.exe have been added as exceptions to your Windows firewall.
You can use these instructions to add the exceptions and the executables themselves would be located in your Database Location/Application folder path.
I would also add these exceptions to any Antivirus or other Firewall blocking applications you may have and ensure that you connected to your network via a Private network, not a Public one, see this guide for more information.
