Please try to restart your Roon Server by closing the Roon app in the taskbar or rebooting your Roon Server machine.

  • What device are you using to run the Roon Remote app (model and OS version)?
  • I see you are trying to reinstall the app, but have you tried clearing the app cache?
  • Is the problem with crashes and missing album artwork happening on just one device or on multiple devices running Roon Remote?
  • If you are using another device (e.g. PC or another phone/tablet) to run Roon Remote, are you experiencing the same issues with album art and search?

The problem with the app seems to have resolved after doing a Roon software/database update that Roon prompted this morning, and reconnecting my Qobuz account, which was no longer connecting for some reason. The album covers from Qobuz are now showing up and I’m now able to search for something without the app crashing. I have been using the app on my iPhone15 Pro with iOS 18.3.2 with Roon running on my nucleus.
