Description of Issue

After the upgrade to 1.8, all my clients do crash at startup. I have this issue on my iPad, iPhone as well as on my iMac. When I switch the Roon server off (via the web browser), and I startup the Roon app on my devices, it doesn’t crash and is waiting to select a Roon core. As soon as I start the Roon Core (on my NUC) then the app on my devices crashes again. Please advice what I need to do to remediate.

Hey @Vic_Dewulf,

I am so sorry about the trouble! It looks like all of your remote devices are failing to connect to your Core… . Sorry about that!

Could you please try to:

  • uninstall Roon (on your iMac) or the Roon Remote app on your iPad and iPhone
  • restart the device (iMac, iPad and iPhone)
  • download Roon from our website - it is the latest version - for your Mac and the Roon Remote app from the app store
  • launch Roon

Thanks in advance

I did remove the app and restart on iPad. Restarted and reinstalled. Now It works on my iPad.
Thank you.
