· Since iOS26 the ROON app Icon on iPhone 17 doesn't stay black (dark mode) when the app was put in a folder on home screen and the folder gets minimized.
Thanks for the clear report and the screenshot. This sounds like an iOS 26 home screen rendering issue rather than something inside Roon itself, since it only shows up when the app is inside a folder and the folder is minimized.
Please check whether the icon stays correct if you place Roon directly on the home screen, or if you change the iPhone appearance setting between Light and Dark mode. That should help us separate an app icon display quirk from a broader iOS theme issue. If it only happens with Roon in a folder, please let us know whether the same thing happens with any other app icons or only Roon.
We can pass this along as feedback, and it would be useful to know whether this is limited to the iPhone 17, or if you have seen it on any other device running iOS 26 as well. Thanks.
Thanks for the update and the extra device details. We’ve passed this feedback along to the team.
The behavior you’re seeing, where the larger icon stays black outside a folder but turns white when the folder is minimized, is helpful context for us.
If you come across anything else that changes the pattern, let us know.
The testing for this is in the QA team’s queue, and it may take some time to be investigated. If the team has any follow-up questions, we’ll let you know here. Thanks in advance for your patience as we look into this.
