When Roon loads on startup on my computer the computer screen does not show Roon. However it is grayed out I can view Roon on my iPad and iPhone.

If you have the Roon Server program set to Launch at startup, it runs in the background and does not show up on your screen. Then, if you want to use your computer to control Roon, you have to click on the Roon icon to open the Roon control program. Or, you can use a phone or tablet to control the Roon Server running on your computer.
