This was working fine a few weeks ago, and only appears to impact the Roon apps themselves. I see the same problem on my iPhone and Mac. The ARC app shows album art correctly, and when I’m playing music on my WiiM ultra, it also shows album art.
I tried using the delete cache button inside the Roon app, but that does not appear to have solved the problem. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing the app on my phone.
Thanks for the clear description. Since this is happening in both the iPhone and Mac apps, but ARC and playback on your WiiM Ultra still show art correctly, this points to the Roon apps’ local image cache or the app-side database view rather than your library source.
Please try two things we have not covered yet: first, on one affected Roon app, sign out of your account and sign back in. Second, on the same device, fully quit the app, then remove and reinstall the current Roon app version from Download Roon for Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and ARC.
Could you also confirm whether the album grid is blank everywhere in the app, or only for some albums and artists? And when did you first notice this, roughly? If anything changed around that time, that would help us narrow it down.
Hi @noris, thanks for your response. At the time of filing this ticket I had attempted to do the things you had suggested. Across my mac, my iPad and my iPhone, I was seeing the same problem. The issue persisted for about 2 weeks. Today I opened up roon on my phone and it appears to have resolved itself. I just checked on my laptop, and it also appears to be fixed. Ghost in the either or something. For clarity, I was not seeing any images of arts or albums across the whole app experience.
