According to diagnostics, we see a Samsung Galaxy S23 associated with your account, is this the affected device? We tried to enable diagnostics on the device just now, can you please try to open the Roon app on it a few times and let us know after? We’ll check to see if any of the log sets make it through to our servers.
Thanks for doing that. The app logs did reach us, but they do not show a crash. They simply stop mid-operation, with no error recorded. That tells us the app is being terminated from outside rather than failing in a way it can report, so we need to capture it from the Android side.
Two quick questions first, they cost you nothing.
Does it close immediately when you open it, or after you have been using it for a while? And roughly how long?
Do you have Roon on any other phone or tablet, and does that one behave normally?
Two settings worth checking on the S23, as Samsung is aggressive about closing apps:
Settings, then Battery, then Background usage limits. Make sure Roon is not in “Sleeping apps” or “Deep sleeping apps”
Settings, then Apps, then Roon, then Battery, and set it to Unrestricted
If either of those was set, please try again afterwards and tell us whether it still closes.
If it still closes, we need an Android log. This is the only thing that will show the actual cause:
