Describe the issue

I was using Roon just fine yesterday most of the day. Later when using the Roon app on my ipad to turn on, it would come up for 1/2 sec and then off. After trying this a dozen times and turning off the nucleus and restarting my Ipad i deleted the app and reinstalled. at least then the app was loading but now it just hangs up "connecting to roon server". Restarted my network no effect. I did analyze my network and the nucleus is shown on it. i downloaded the latest OS. Still not connecting.

Hi @kgottschalk,

Thank you for your post. Can you please share a screenshot of your Nucleus Web Administration page? The diagnostics available to our server from the machine indicate that it might not be logging network activity as expected, so we’d like to see the status of the machine’s network interface.

Thank you! We’ll watch for your response.

Hi @kgottschalk ,

Thanks for the screenshot, that appears to be normal and working as expected. If you navigate on your iPad Settings → Roon App, can you ensure that Local Network Access is toggled to On? Are you able to connect to the Nucleus from another Roon Remote/App?

Local Area Network access is toggled on. I tried from my iPhone also no luck.

Hey @kgottschalk,

As a next step, can you please also reboot your router, as well as your Nucleus and iPad, and let me know if you run into the same issue?

Afterwards, can you review your router settings > devices list, and confirm that all your Roon devices are on the same local subnet?

Thank you! :raised_hands:
