Roon app on Mac unable to find local server after T-Mobile modem/router upgrade (ref#D1F4N1)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Tell us what's going on

· When I try to open the Roon app on my Mac (running 26.3.1) Roon is unable to find my server, which is on my Mac. I have gone through all the suggested steps in the "get help" message (Mac is connected to the internet, firewall exceptions in place, ip address entered, etc) but nothing helped. I considered setting up the server again, but I didn't want to lose my Roon settings and preferences. Recently I did upgrade my T Mobile modem/router, and I do have a new password. Still, there is no problem with my Mac's connection to the router/internet.

· T Mobile G5AR. I do have Surfshark VPN, but I disconnect it when I am starting Roon. In the past the VPN hasn't interfered with Roon, but it has interrupted qobuz. Again, I have disconnected while I have been troubleshooting my Roon server issue.

Issue solved. I clicked on create a new server, and the exisiting server returned.

Hi @kent.templeton,

Glad to hear it’s solved, we’ll mark this thread for closure. Enjoy your Roon experience!
