Thank you in advance for your help Thammarat @kthammar
Thank you for your post and we’re sorry to hear you’re encountering problems with sign-on.
Let’s clarify one point about the legacy (1.8) track and ARC, first of all:
My colleague @noris attempted to communicate this in our previous thread - we can’t guarantee the compatibility of ARC with Roon 1.8, as there’s no legacy track for ARC and it relies on contemporary cloud services. Relying on the legacy build to bypass certain upstream requests will also prevent ARC session authorization and likely prevent the app from functioning at all. If you want to use ARC, you’ll need to stick to Roon 2.0 and keep the latest build installed (1510 at this time). We see at least one RoonServer on this build.
Please share a screenshot of the issue you’re having in ARC. Does this reproduce in Roon on the same phone (Roon 2.0) on local network? Are you able to login to ARC on your home WiFi, or are you encountering a login loop regardless of location?
Check again that content blockers are disabled on the phone. Then, open the default browser and navigate to Roon’s account page. https://account.roon.app/en/login. Try to login there - this will use the same single-sign-on server as ARC. Do you encounter the re-direct loop here?
According to diagnostics, it looks like your Roon 2.0 server was recently seen as online, did logging in ultimately work as expected? If so, can you please share the solution in case it benefits others in the future? Thanks!
If antivirus software was interfering with single-sign-on and Roon installation, then it’s very likely also filtering Roon’s connection to Tidal’s servers. Make sure that RoonServer is safelisted in this software or temporarily disable it.
