Description of Issue

Did a search and this topic showed up, but never mentioned a solution. Roon App shuts down on Roon Core PC when I close a remote desktop session on a client PC. My Roon Core is on a PC in a “Network Closet”. I feel like I can not be the only one that remote desktop’s into Roon Core PC. Others experience this? or Am I missing something? Not using the software as intended?

Thanks

Jack

Hmm if you are running a PC headless as the server you should be using RoonServer, the server part without the GUI.

Ah… I see the download for that now… I will give that a try tonight… Thank you

Yes, a user still needs to login, but, RoonServer can be set to autostart. But, with Windows there are ways to autologon after reboot
