Hey @jorgaguero,

Thanks for taking the time to write in, and welcome to the Roon community! We’re happy to have you here, but also apologize in that it’s an issue thats prompted your recent post.

Before anything else, it may be helpful to update to the latest Roon version - since you’re having issues accessing your Roon remote to be able to update, see if the following steps help. Make sure you have a recent backup saved and available before performing any of the steps below:

  • Create a Backup of your current database (in your case, just make sure you have a saved backup available)
  • Exit out of Roon + RoonServer (from taskbar area)
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon Server” and “Roon”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old” and “Roon” to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup

Here is the process outlined from a Windows machine:

All Roon_old on Windows

Let me know if you’re able to get things back up and running after this! :+1:
