New Alienware Aurora R11 Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit Intel Core i9, 64 gig RAM

Network Details

Linksys AC5400 Router, Primary stereo doesn’t use the router.

Audio Devices

Parasound P5 Preamp connected by Toslink fiberoptic.

Description of Issue

Roon App won’t start. Gets “stuck” on screen with the little animated logo. Restart won’t fix it. Uninstall and reinstall Roon Core won’t fix it. Currently stuck trying to reinstall Roon Core. Roon was slow to open on my old computer and sometimes need a restart of the computer to load. I thought a new computer would fix it.

Roon has been working perfectly on my new computer for about a month. The problem with not loading just started a couple of days ago. Let me know if I can be of further help.

I have solved my problem with Roon not loading. It was caused by a NERO program: NERO Wifi +Transfer. I uninstalled the program and Roon loaded quickly and correctly. 'm very happy to have found this solution. I love Roon and didn’t like being without it.
