I have been using Roon on my Window 11 PC without a problem. Two days ago it simply will not open. I have rebooted the computer a number of times to no avail.
Describe your network setup
I use Comcast and the router they provide. I have an Eero mesh network extender to I use for making the connection. I have had no issues with the connection for Roon previously and all other applications are working fine
Automatic updates to the Windows OS, graphics drivers, or third-party security software are the most common causes of this symptom.
I’d first verify that RoonServer, Roon, and RAAT are all added as safelist/exceptions to the Windows Defender firewall.
From there, check to make sure that your display drivers have the latest available update.
After performing those steps, I’d open the Task Manager to make sure RoonServer isn’t running as a background process, and then attempt to launch Roon again on this machine.
