What happens when you hit select a different Roon server?
Sometimes Roon does get confused after updates.
Don’t worry about any warning it might give, go ahead and then it should list all available Roon servers seen on the network.

When you installed the Roon software, it installed two programs, Roon Server and Roon (client). Did you set Roon Server to Launch at start up (of your computer)? If not, you need to start it first. It’s on the lower right of your Windows task bar. You may need to click on the up arrow and then right click on Roon and Open Roon or set to Launch at startup. Give the Roon server program a minute or two to get up and running before starting Roon (the client).

It just continues to look but won’t connect
Click Select a different Roon server.

But it should give you a list of available servers.
If it doesn’t then that means it can’t see any available server ATM.
One assumes you have already tried rebooting the server and possibly your router/ modem?
Have re-booted a number of times, Roon server runs on it’s own dedicated PC. It is on the same PC that it cannot find the roon server. I don’t see any roon services running in the task manager. I have tried to start them manually but nothing yet. Perhaps I need to re-install.
I have tried selecting a different Roon Server, still does not find anything

I wasn’t getting that icon even though I could now see the roon server running in the task master. I ended up re-installing and it now connects and the icon is there and it is set for launch at start up which it did this time. I will let it re-build the libraries.

LIbrary rebuilt quite quickly, all my settings were remembered, working perfectly now,
