Hello @Alastair_Romanes ,

Is there any change in behavior if you log out and back into TIDAL via Roon Settings → Services? Or is there any change if you clear out your cache?

  • Exit out of Roon/RoonServer (from the taskbar)
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/RoonServer/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon and verify if the issue still occurs

If that still does not help, you can try to perform a full reinstall of Roon with the following instructions:

Let’s try a fresh database and see if your issues persist:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon + RoonServer (from taskbar area)
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon Server” and “Roon”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old” and “Roon” to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup

Here is the process outlined from a macOS machine:

I’m just about to board a plane to Spain for a short break - back on Sunday so remedial action will have to wait till then. However, I must point out that Roon on all my devices is completely frozen and remains so even after reinstalling

Sounds good @Alastair_Romanes, enjoy your break and we’ll be on standby for your reply and return! :folded_hands:
