· Hi, when i open roon application on my Macbook air, a task is always running and never end. I make two screen shot, in the first one i made a yellow circle to show you the task. If I click it, a new window will be open (second screen shot), that task never ending.

Hi @Philippe_PETIT,

Thanks for the screenshots. Can you please try performing a full reboot of your Nucleus to see if that helps clear up the previous scanning? You can do so via the RoonOS WebUI (red button in the top). Let us know if that helps!

Hi @Philippe_PETIT,

Do you have Background Work scheduled within Roon? What about On-Demand analysis? Please share a screenshot of your Roon Settings → Library page.

Hi @Philippe_PETIT,

If possible, could you please check your Roon Settings > Library > Clean up library and check if any tracks need to cleared out?

Feel free to share a screenshot of your screen here. Thank you!

Hi @Philippe_PETIT,

Thank you for your patience.

We see the Nucleus disconnecting and connecting to the SMB share hosting your local library. This is interrupting file rescanning, so the Nucleus never concludes scanning the database for changes.

Please double-check you’ve configured the network share according to our best practices here.

I recommend forcing a rescan of this folder and temporarily disabling Background Work scheduling to see if Roon can complete this work with some extra time. Next, restart Roon Server.

We’ll watch for your response. Thank you!
