Hi, despite the software release notes posted on March 3 pertaining to Roon (Server, Remote) 2.61 and Roon ARC 1.74, the latter is not yet available for either iOS or Android. In both stores (Apple App Store and Google Play Store) the new version 1.74 is not listed/offered for update, yet, although Roon Remote 2.61 is as posted.
If I remember right, it always takes a few days for the apps to get to users, due to delays by Apple and Google.

No, typically Roon does not announce until after the apps have been released on the stores. This type of thing has happened only a few times. Stinks when it does.
Same here. I’m in The Netherlands, although I have no idea if there are regional differences in app stores.
ARC builds are still in review, guys. Usually, it was Apple who was slow, but after we added support for CarPlay and Android Auto, we’ve noticed a significant delay in review times on Play Store side, often enough multiple days.

After installing the new version, it is like the first sync when you open it or does it just contineu where you left off last time
But of you install an APK it won’t auto update from the Play Store anymore as far as I know. To return to automatic updates later, you’d have to uninstall the APK and reinstall from the Play Store

Hmm, I’m not sure. I didn’t even install it from the store the first time. But, if someone who has it from the Play Store, updates it to the one from the link without problems, then I don’t see why it wouldn’t update from the Play Store. I think only if the apk signatures are different it won’t work.
It certainly was the case in the past:
I find some hints online that this may have changed but I couldn’t find out if that’s conclusive or always the case, and we’ve seen quite many cases of people on the forum getting stuck on an old APK.

I don’t have the option of updating to Arc 1.74 in the Apple Store. No problem updating IOS Roon app but not Arc. Is this just a me problem?
No, it seems there is a delay whilst Apple validate the new version.

Hi there … great news on nugs which is working fine on my home network. However I’m not seeing nugs shows appear on Arc … grateful for an update please … is this expected?
Did you update the ARC app? It seems that it’s delayed on some app stores. The release notes say that Nugs should be in ARC:
I think I’ve seen this mentioned in another threat, but Android and iOS apps undergo review when they are published and how long it takes for them to be available is a bit unpredictable. Additionally, they may arrive to different users at different times.
I have the same issue, I’ve got the latest Arc version available to me through the App Store and it’s version 1.72.
The new version should arrive any moment now.

I get “something went wrong” retry when I try to open ARC on both iPad and iPhone
