,all of these phone /player will show this problems. Some phones can be redirected to use Chrome app to log in, which can avoid this problem. However, some phones do not have the redirection app function, which makes it impossible to log in forever, regardless of using mobile network or Wi-Fi, changing DNS, clearing cookies/reinstalling.

Hello @Jack_Yan1,

Thank you for reaching Roon support nice to see you again on our comunity!

To clarify, Roon ARC does not use a proprietary or built-in browser. On Android, ARC relies on the default system browser component (WebView) provided by the operating system to handle login authentication. This means that Roon ARC itself has no control over how browser content (including CAPTCHAs) is rendered or validated.

The CAPTCHA mechanism you’re encountering is managed entirely by Google’s reCAPTCHA service, which makes automated decisions about when to show additional verification based on factors like device behavior, IP reputation, or browsing context. Unfortunately, we do not have any influence over how Google treats your device or determines whether it’s presenting suspicious behavior — this is done independently by Google’s systems.

When you open the ARC login in Chrome directly, you are using a full-featured browser where Google has more context and may trust the session more easily, which explains why the CAPTCHA doesn’t appear or behaves differently.

We understand how frustrating this can be, especially when it affects login. We’re continuously working to make the ARC experience smoother across all devices, and your report helps us prioritize improvements. In the meantime, using the external browser login (when redirection is available) is the best workaround.

Please let us know if you continue to experience issues or have any other questions — we’re here to help.
