Roon ARC app login error with invalid recaptcha on iPhone (ref#X5D1PB)

upon downloading roon arc app on my i phone im given option to login but when i put my credentials it refuses to sign in and a message saying "there was an error logging in: invalid recaptcha" pops up. ive checked for blockers in my safari changed browers and tried but nothing seems to work, i just got the subcription too but now im not able to use it

Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. The “invalid reCAPTCHA” error is most often caused by browser settings or extensions that block cookies or interfere with the login process.

As a quick test, could you try signing in using a different browser—preferably one with default settings and no extensions enabled? Let us know if that works for you, and we can go from there.

so i did try it out with chrome as well but the same thing popped up and as for safari i checked that there were no blockers and no pop were blocked.

Thanks for giving that a try!

If you haven’t yet, could you test out disabling wifi on the issue mobile device and see if you run into the same issue?

If youre issue persists, you can try the following:

Go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data

  • Restart the phone.
  • Then try logging into Roon ARC again.
If you still run into issues, try this as well, let’s check iOS privacy or security features:
  • Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions
  • Temporarily disable these restrictions if enabled
  • Also ensure Private Relay (iCloud+) is off under Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Private Relay

thank you for your reply, i have tried these steps too but to no avail. The same thing is coming still.

Thanks for letting us know. Are you by any chance able to temporarily set a different default browser for your device to see if the other browser allows the login to work?
