I was asked to contact the developper of the roonarc android app. I used to use it with Android auto but my new chevrolet Blazer EV uses Android automotive OS, apparently, chevrolet decided to leave android auto to gain a better control of apps. Unfortunately, the google playstore on Android Automotive OS does not have RoonArc in its list of available apps. Would it be possible to port the app to this new system?

First of all thanks for the feedback. As of now it’s not in our plans, but we appreciate the feedback and will certainly come to you for thoughts when we circle back to this item.

Hi @Francois_Bussiere,

There would be significant architectural changes required for ARC to meet the Car-ready mobile apps program sanctioned by Google for Android Automotive OS. At this time, the app is designed to function with Android Auto, not the standalone operating system.
