Roon ARC behind Watchguard Firebox

ROCK on i3 NUC with 8GB RAM and 120 GB SSD. BTW, this works fine for regular roon and I can play to all audio devices

    green.ch

  2. Please list the make and model of your modem and router?
    Watchguard Firebox T35-W. This doesn‘t support NATPNP or UPNP

  3. Do you have any additional network hardware, like additional routers or managed switches?
    No

  4. Does your network have any VPNs, proxy servers, or enterprise-grade security?
    I have VPN from mobile devices to the firebox. I didnt think this would be relevant here

Hi @Christoph_Jans,

When UPnP and NatPnP isn’t supported, you should create a manual port forwarding rule. I don’t know the Watchguard Firebox myself, but found a youtube video where it’s explained.

Before you start with creating the rule, write down the ip address and port number of you Roon Core. In the Roon App go to Settings → Roon Arc below the error message you will see them.
