I would absolutely love if Roon ARC offered a simple FAVOURITES button in the (Apple) CarPlay function. There are often absolute gems playing in Roon Radio mode and this would be a safe way to bookmark them for later rediscovery.

I was coming into the Community Forum to make this exact suggestion. Having to be hands free while driving, I find myself backtracking through the queue when I can finally grab my handset safely to find the song I want to favourite.

Quick feedback on Roon ARC’s Apple CarPlay integration.
The playback experience doesn’t feel seamless today. A common use case:

I start playing music in the car

I stop the engine and leave the car

I come back later

Playback does not resume automatically

I need to open Roon ARC again and press play manually
This creates friction, especially compared with Apple Music, which usually resumes from where I left off.
As a result, I tend to use Apple Music in the car more often, even though I would prefer to use Roon ARC.
Using my last feature request vote for this one. Having an easy way to mark a song as a favorite while driving is essential and it is wild that ARC does not have this (or a “start radio” function) in CarPlay.
