The USB driver that you must have enabled in Roon ARC settings is still at Beta precisely because not all issues have been ironed out.
It works for many but not for everyone.
There may be a solution but it is equally possible that there is not.
If you can’t resolve the issue you will just have to disable the Beta driver and resign yourself to listening at 48kHz or limit your listening to 192kHz with the driver enabled if that works for you.
Hi @Bruce_Chou,
Thank you for writing in to ask us about this issue. I think the next step here is to enable some diagnostics on your account so our technical staff can get some more insight into what’s going on here.
However, before I enable this feature, I’d like to ask for your help ensuring we gather the right information.
First, can you please reproduce the issue once more and note the time at which the error occurs. Then respond here with that time, and I’ll make sure we review the diagnostics related to that timestamp.
Hi @Bruce_Chou,
Thanks for that timestamp. We were able to locate the crash in logs. For this type of crash we will need to talk to our development team. While I cannot give an exact timeline for a fix I want to assure you that we will let you know here when we know more!
Thanks for your patience! We’re aiming to have some additional updates to share by the end of this week or early next week. I just want to let you know that progress in this area might take a bit longer since some of the drivers in Arc are still in Beta, as @Wade_Oram kindly mentioned earlier. We really appreciate your understanding as we work through this.
