Description of Issue

I have basically had this problem since the introduction of the Roon ARC first version.

Each time after a reset, Roon ARC connects to Roon Core and I can, for example, download files to my phone to listen to offline when away from home.

When I’m away from home I listen offline and when I come back and the phone connects to the same network it sometimes happens that it can’t connect to Roon Core and I’m forced to reset the Roon ARC settings again.
Sometimes Roon ARC connect to Roon Core and history is updated.

Roon core and router are set up correctly because Roon Core shows ready status in proper tab. I have tried using different ports and the problem persists.

A similar situation occurs when there is a problem with the database and there is a need to restore from a backup.

I have a guess that the problem may not be on the server-router side but on the Roon ARC itself but I cannot tell which port it is using at the moment.

On my iPhone i have installed Roon app too - is possible conflict between 2 apps?

I will be grateful to you for all your help and suggest add to Roon ARC settings tab similar to Roon Core tab with Roon ARC status.

Hey @Krzysztof_Grygorowic,

Ben with the support team here, thanks for taking the time to write in! It’s good to see you on community again as well.

Following up here, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Arc over stable wifi? Before doing this, you can add all of your Arc tracks to a specific playlist in Roon, so re-downloading becomes a bit easier for you. :+1:

We’ve seen some reports of poor connection errors resolving with a fresh install of Arc. If this is not the case for you, please reproduce the issue and share the specific date and time, and track playing, when the issue re-appears.

Thanks!

Sorry, but this solution is probably waste of my time.
I have very strony wi-fi connection (my iPhone display max wi-fi signal). Additionally I checked synchronization near my router (1m-2m). My router has stable connection and works very smoothly - this is proffesional line model.
