Description of Issue
I am able to connect ROON ARC to my core system initially. But after playback on my iPhone (seems like at least 30+ minutes), the connection randomly drops and ARC is unable to reconnect even though ROON software on my PC still says “Your Roon Core was automatically configured and has been confirmed to be securely accessible by Roon ARC.” Roon ARC app continues to say poor connection. However, it seems that I am able to get playback of songs that were previously played that session, but cannot advance beyond the point where connection was lost.
If I close/re-open ROON on my PC, this appears to allow the ARC app to reconnect. But eventually, it loses connection again and ARC won’t reconnect even though PC says it is good for ARC connection.
I see same behavior whether I have my iPhone connected on my local WIFI or listening remotely via cellphone (Verizon) data connection.
