Hello @Chase_Martinez ,

please try to reproduce this problem and note the exact date and time it occurs.

It would also be very helpful if you could record a video of this behavior and share a link to it with us.

Thank you.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi @Chase_Martinez,

We’ll need a little more contextual information. Is ARC freezing on your phone, or in another display (like CarPlay/Android Auto)? Does this occur if you’re at home connected to your home WiFi?

We’ve examined ARC diagnostic logging from the last few days to try to pinpoint the events you describe. At certain times, the ARC framework was reporting insufficient bandwidth to download tracks from your Roon Server to buffer for playback. Around the same time, requests to download artwork and associated metadata also began to timeout. ARC was relying on a mobile connection and the phone operating system was reporting fluctuating signal strength to ARC.

From these logs, it unfortunately looks like the phone simply lacks the connection strength for ARC to play reliably at certain times. We don’t see evidence of freezing, but we’re very eager to investigate this report more fully. Please reach out with a timestamp or the name of a track that was playing so we can confirm we’re investigating the same event in logs.

Thank you!

hello I deleted the app and reinstalled it and the problem got fixed
