Roon ARC - French translation issue

Hello,

I’m just starting to use ARC, and just noticed the current French translation for “Single” was “Célibataire”.

“Célibataire” in French means one human being living on his own, not one “Single Track”.

Please keep “Single” as “Single” in French. We already use “Single” for “single music title”.

This has been reported, and i would like to believe that one of your countrymen/women has already adjusted the phrase in the translations tool for ARC.
There has been a delay in delivering translations to the clients, but things are back to normal once more.
When next release of translations material occurs, this should be corrected.
(and the reason is of course a machine translation initially)

French translation for Singles in Arc

Hello In Roon Arc, on the main screen, in the new releases for you, when language is set to French, Arc displays “Singles” subcategory translated as “Célibataires” which is completely incorrect. [IMG_5916_preview] “Célibataires” in french means “someone that is single in a relationship manner”. This word should not be translated or, if you absolutely want to, you can use the “Simples” or “Monoplages” terms as stated by Wikipedia. Thanks

Thank you for bringing this up, and a big thanks to @Mikael_Ollars for stepping in with the correct information!

This correction will be included in an upcoming Roon ARC release when the new language packs are pushed out.

Since the fix is already in the pipeline, I will go ahead and close this thread. Thank you for your keen eye and for helping us refine the French Roon experience!
