Is it normal that Roon Arc is in mp3 on 4G? I couldn’t find the option to force lossless when I’m on the move in 4G. I have 70 GB per month so it should do it.
Same track on Qobuz app shows lossless, so is in wifi.
Must be a setting somewhere maybe?
But to be honest as I’m listening on AirPods Pro, not sure if it’s useful.
Go to Settings > PLAYBACK and deselect “Automatically pick best quality", and you’ll see the options.

Having 4 or 5G doesn’t guarantee you have the bandwidth for lossless playback all the time if at all. I can have it and get .25mb/s.
Does it make a difference on AirPods Pro?
They are using Bluetooth so will be converted to AAC anyway. I’ve not bothered with lossless at all via arc unless on Wi-Fi and wired headphones. Just seems a waste of time for Bluetooth and tbh it sounds great. Too many external noisy factors when out and about.
