Describe the issue
Roon ARC iOS plays a short audible gap between tracks on the same album that are continuous/gapless, when the last track (e.g. track 1) is a FLAC streamed from the local Roon server, and the next track (track 2) is a FLAC downloaded into the ARC app.
This is what I did to verify this problem:
1. Playback via Roon iOS does not produce audible gap between tracks 1 and 2 of the album.
2. Verify FLAC files do not have gaps/extra samples at end/beginning using Audacity.
3. Deleted ARC downloads, killed ARC app, restarted ARC app, played from track 1 through to track 2 -- no gap between tracks.
4. Re-downloaded ARC playlist including track 2, killed ARC app, restarted ARC app, played from track 1 through to track 2 -- audible gap between tracks.
5. Repeated steps 3 and 4 multiple times to make sure the problem was repeatable -- it is repeatable.
Roon ARC iOS app version 1.0 (333). Roon Server version 2.0 (build 1496).
Source files are FLAC 24bit/96kHz, version downloaded to ARC is "CD Quality", ARC is doing sample rate conversion to 44.1kHz, volume levelling set to "auto".
This is with local Roon server playback of FLAC files, but this is an album that has this behaviour, with track 1 streamed and track 2 downloaded, and is available via Qobuz. Track 1 of this album plays continuously/gapless into track 2.
