Roon was already among the best software I’ve ever used - the music platform I’ve always wanted. But Roon ARC kicks it up another notch. It’s a feature I’ve craved since I started using Roon, but didn’t expect to see for years. Yet here it is, and it just works! As an engineer, I can appreciate how much work must have gone into this project- turning any computer into a music streaming device isn’t an easy problem. THANK YOU!
It feels like nit picking but there are two features that are conspicuously absent in Roon ARC that I’d love to see in a future release-
Bookmarks: I rely heavily on bookmarks to navigate my music library, but they don’t seem to show up in Roon ARC. (Most of my bookmarks are combinations of tag filters, which I’d expect to map onto Roon ARC just fine.)
Album notes: I don’t see PDF content showing up in Roon ARC. I listen to a lot of classical music, and easy access to album notes is one of the best features of Roon+Qobuz. I’d love to be able to access them in ARC too!
But, the fact that I’m focused on such minor things proves how amazing ARC is. It’s a minor miracle it works at all. Thank you again!
