Roon ARC login issue due to detected problem with Roon Server (ref#H62C3E)

What’s happening?

· I'm having trouble with Roon ARC

What best describes your issue with ARC

· I can't log into ARC but I can log into Roon

Describe the issue

My Roon Server says it's ready for Arc, but when I try to login into Arc, it says "There's an issue with your Roon Server." It see that the Roon Server is only but detects an issue.

Describe your network setup

Wired Roon Server, wireless going through an Orbi with one satellite.

I would verify that both Roon and RAATServer have been added as exceptions to your firewall.

Thanks, but it even happens when my firewall is disabled.

First thing I would do is uninstall/reinstall ARC. It still gets itself hung up on something occasionally and a reinstall usually helps.

It shouldn’t be necessary but too often it is with ARC. Glad it helped :slight_smile:

Did you either a) go several days/weeks without using ARC on this device or) restore a Backup of your RoonServer?

In any case, logs show the ARC database had become dissociated from your RoonServer. This can be triggered in the two circumstances mentioned above, as well as by a few other conditions. The team is looking into better handling for these cases moving forward.

Hey Connor, yes, I do think I went for a while without using Arc. It’s not part of my normal routine but I do have some use cases for it.
