Hi, I would like to know how to request an improvement for the Roon ARC APP. In particular, I would like to know if it was possible to introduce the playlist download function (today it is only possible for albums). Thank you.
There is an option to download playlists, but only for playlists in Roon that contain local files that are available in Roon. (If the playlist contains partially streaming tracks and partially local ones, then only the local ones will be downloaded)
The option does not exist for streaming-only playlists, just like it doesn’t for streaming albums, because the third-party services (and the contracts they have with labels) don’t allow downloading in third-party apps

I struggled with the same when first starting with Roon / ARC.
I believe the UX’ could be improved. When going to the “Downloads” section, there is a nice “Find something to download” button which brings you to a view containing downloadable albums. As a user, this led me to believe that I could only download albums.
It was only later that I “accidentally” discovered that I could also download playlists with local files by going to the playlist, clicking the 3 dots and selecting download.
The function is actually quite handy. When you download a playlist and later add new tracks to the playlist, they are also downloaded.
