I checked UPnP on router settings and it is in fact enabled.
The additional instructions on the Roon help page in case that did not work were out of my league!

Typically, this means Roon couldn’t connect to your core.

Here are some things you can try.

  • Try to manually open the port in your router configuration
  • Make sure the IP/Port matches
  • Check for any VPNs or Firewalls
  • Reach out to your ISP; also let us have details of your ISP
