Hi @Frans_Pommer,

Thank you for your patience.

The screenshot you’ve shared shows a failure during Tidal playback - do you have issues playing local library tracks in ARC, too? We ask because the two take different network pathways. Tidal streams directly from the Tidal API via the phone’s network connection (although authorizations still pass through the server); local library playback, obviously, relies on the network connection to RoonServer.

Around the time of these playback errors in logs, we see errors indicating the app might have opened in a bad state. When you’re having issues with Tidal playback, does closing the app and reopening help? What about reinstalling the app?

We’ll watch for your response. Thank you!

Hi Connor,

Thanks for your questions.

When trying to play local files (stored on the internal drive of the Nucleus One) error messages appear (unexpected playback error or bad connection error).

Closing the app and reopening sometimes help but not always.

Removing Roon ARC, downloading it from Google Play Store, install, logging in and reconnecting to my network seems to have done the trick: no errors on playback (local and tidal). So thank you for the help.

Kind regards,

Frans
