With the aid of an IT friend, I got Roon ARC working via my iPhone. Now I want to play music in my Audi. The problem is, that, whether the iPhone is connected by analogue or USP to the Audi, play is interrupted after a song or maybe two. Is there an easy fix to this or are you going to get terribly technical on me!?
PS I know I’m not the first to comment on this but I saw not easy answers at this sight.
Maybe go into the Roon ARC settings on your phone and reduce the resolution for cellular streaming.
I’ve mentioned this elsewhere but I found that changing to original quality cleared up a lot of disconnects for me. It still drops the connection, but it happens less often. My theory is the transcoding from original to 256 or whatever was gumming up the works.
I realize every use case is unique but this worked for me.
OK, thanks guys, these are, I think, exactly opposite solutions. I’ll try both!
