What is the exact port forwarding error message you see in the Roon Settings ā ARC tab?
DS720+ broke down, so replace it with the same model
There are too many difficulties.
When I run ROON ARC on my phone, it comes out as POOR CONNECTION and the connection is bad
I canāt connect at all anymore.
The ROON ARC of the setup appears as NOT READY by running a run on the PC.
By the way, if I install ROON CORE in the window, ROON ARC is normal.
Windows and routers seem to mean normal.
By the way, when I install ROON CORE on Nas, it shows NOT READY as shown in the image below, and an error appears.
Link to ROON ARC error as guided by ROON LABS
Iāve tried everything, but I canāt.
Iāve checked all the basic port forwarding
Iāve changed the port number several times.
I also disabled all of the firewalls
Anti-virus programs have also been disabled.
I tried running UPNP and saw a repeat of it,
But it didnāt work.
I also removed ROON CORE from Nas and tried to reinstall it. It hasnāt been resolved.
Looking at the script below, it seems to be an IP4 and IP6 problem.
What is the make and model of your modem and router?
modem : HAPPY, E-104C-W, router : ipTIME, AX2004BCM
Do you have any additional network hardware, like additional routers or managed switches? NO
Who is your internet service provider and what is your geographic region?
KT, SOUTH KOREA
Is your Modem configured in Bridge Mode so that it operates only as a modem or do you have the ports forwarded on both?
[/quote] Maybe port forwarded modem
I tried everything you suggested above, but I canāt solve it. Iāve also disabled both firewall and VPN in synology dsm. Also, the router disabled UPnP and re-activated it. Of course, I checked that the PORT number is the same for both ROON and the router.
Interestingly, it is normal if ROON CORE is designated as PC. This error occurs only when ROON CORE is specified as the Sinology NAS.
Please give me a solution. I havenāt slept in a week and Iām struggling with this problem.
No, my mobile phone service provider is LG U+. But Internet service provider is KT.
Today, someone who knows the network well remotely checked my modem, router, and synology nas for more than 3 hours.
He says thereās nothing wrong.
He even completely disabled all of Nasā firewalls and tested them directly from the modem to Nas, but the roon arc error didnāt go away.
I even replaced it with a new router of the same model and tested it just in case, but it was the same.
In the meantime, if I change the roon core to the window, the roon arc error disappeared and became normal, but now I get this error even if I install roon core in the window.
I think the roon arc bug in roon is obvious.
The first time this bug occurred was when I changed the roon core to the window while returning the nas because it broke till that time it was normal, but when I received the nas again, I changed the roon core to nas again, and ROON ARC ERROR happened.
I think itās a bug that happens when I change the roon core.
I want to contact the engineer of the roon, but I donāt know how to contact the engineer of roon.
Could you tell me how to contact him?
ARC doesnāt work well, if at all, with a CGNAT connection. That is what you do not want. That is why I suggested asking them, to see if you were and if that was the source of your issue; so that if you were you could get out of it.
The roon client and roon remote are also working well. But only roon arc doesnāt work. I have a roon server in nas, will initializing and reinstalling the router and nas solve this problem?
I dont think so. You need to ask your ISP if you have a publicly available IPv4 address to your router. Doesnāt have to be a static IP but that would work.
Okay, I see from your deleted post that you have a 10.xxx.xxx.xxx network in addition to the 192.xxx.xxx.xxx network.
Both of these are private networks. In other words, there are two networks that Roon ARC needs to navigate.
Since you stated that you have no additional networking equipment, it is probable that your ISP is using a form of carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT). This is where the public IP address (222.xxx.xxx.xxx) is shared by many customers, who are issued a 10.xxx.xxx.xxx address. ARC cannot negotiate this arrangement.
Therefore, you need to contact your ISP and ask them if they can assign you a public IP4 address.
