Roon Arc is crashing all the time on my iPhone 15 Pro with latest IOS and Roon Arc app. It has been like this for a long time so this has probably little to do with the latest version. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall many times.
Describe your network setup
Roon is installed on a Synology NAS 1821+ and is running flawlessly with the Roon client. The NAS is connected with cable to my router. (TP-Link X60).
Welcome back to the forum! Can you please let us know the exact local time + date + track playing (if any) when you observe the next 2-3 crashes? We’ll enable diagnostics to see if there are any clues regarding the crash, thanks!
I crash on search, playback, settings. Actually I have no clear answer to this.
Just now it crashed on playback - Pink Floyd - Another brick in the wall.
Restarted the app, did nothing else than click in the dowload icon and back to the first page. Crashed without playing.
Started again. The app opens up. I wait about 15 seconds. Crashing. I did not touch the phone except open the app.
Closed the app completely… crashed after 15 seconds.
Rebooted phone… started app… crashed without out doing anything after about 30 seconds.
So yes it crash almost every single time. Only difference is that a couple of days ago it froze also. Had to kill it to move on. Then i played a little longer.
But I do not use the app, because it is not possible to listen to anything at the moment.

I work with software development as a product owner on a daily basis. So I am fully capable of answering technical questions or do more advanced tasks if neccessary. Just let me know.
That’s very generous of you. We have the report on the crashed thread through our diagnostic servers after having enabled some more granular logging for your account. This should be what Development needs for now, but we will likely ask for your assistance if offered! The most helpful task would be to migrate your RoonServer and ARC install over to the #earlyaccess build once we have a fix in place for testing - we will give you a ping here as soon as that’s expected, along with a link to the release notes.
We may have additional questions in the meantime. We understand this completely prevents using the app and we’re working diligently to restore playback for you. Thank you for your patience.
Let us know if this crash occurs before or after attempting to sync to your RoonServer for the first time after reinstalling. We’re going to gather some additional diagnostics for development.
